Venture Verification

Verification on Fairy Investing is layered. Different signals build confidence over time, and every venture page displays where it currently stands.

Identity

Every venture creator holds an authenticated account. Ventures with legal entities disclose entity name, type, and, when relevant, tax-deductibility status.

Capital plan

Ventures publish a capital plan describing what they need — money, customers, expertise, productive assets, reach, or relationships — and how those forms fit together.

Evidence

Ventures back their return claims with descriptions, measurements, and, when available, third-party evidence. Each claim carries a confidence level from self-reported to independently verified.

Attestations

Contributors and community members can attest to specific outcomes they witnessed or received. Attestations are visible on the venture and factor into evidence confidence.

What verification does not mean

Verification is not an endorsement, investment recommendation, or guarantee of outcomes. It documents what is known, self-reported, or independently supported at a point in time.
