Capital Deployment Units, or CDUs, provide a common measurement layer for comparing and reporting different forms of capital. They help show:
- the amount and mix of capital mobilized;
- the difference between commitments and delivery;
- which milestones capital supported; and
- the relationship between capital deployed and returns produced.
CDUs are reporting units. They are not money, ownership interests, account balances, securities, or tradable assets.
