Safety and Trust

Every venture is created by a person with an authenticated account. Before publishing, ventures complete a readiness checklist covering identity, capital plan, and disclosures. See Venture Verification for the full process.

Traction, milestones, and market claims begin as self-reported information by the venture creator. Investors and contributors can attest to what they have witnessed or contributed, and those attestations become part of the venture's evidence record.

Each return claim shows an evidence confidence level. See Return Definitions for how confidence, verifiability, and readiness are scored.

Any figure, portfolio, or venture that is not tied to real user activity is visibly labeled "Illustrative" or "Demonstration". Homepage previews and empty-state examples are always labeled.

Some opportunities include a financial return (distribution, repayment, revenue participation, member rebate, discount, or asset appreciation). Many do not. Each venture page explicitly states which return types apply.

If a venture description is misleading, a claim is unsupported, or you experience harm, contact us via the Contact and Support page. Reports are reviewed by the platform team; ventures found in violation may be paused or removed.

Disputes between investors and venture creators are first addressed directly. If unresolved, the platform team reviews the evidence record and applies our Community Standards.

Every opportunity carries risk. Rewards, milestones, and community outcomes are targets, not guarantees. Backing here is donation-, reward-, preorder-, sponsorship-, or participation-based — no venture offers equity, repayment, or a financial return to you. Read each opportunity's own disclosures before committing.
